Artisan Coffee in Hong Kong (Map)

One could easily say that the city is a global melting pot featuring cuisines and cultures from all over the world, and coffee culture is certainly a strong part of that. More and more artisan roasters and coffee houses seem to be opening everyday, which can only be a good thing!

Many of the new wave of shops offer traditional Italian coffee such as latte, cappuccino, espresso, macchiato and the like, but what sets them apart is the freshness of the beans, the skills of the bean roaster, the source of the beans and the skills and techniques of the barista. Also let’s not forgot the milk texturing skills and some of the amazing latte art that adds that visual dimension. Many of these coffee houses are also offering fresh specialty roasted single origin beans and blends for sale for those with home espresso machines or syphons/drip/pour over etc.

Not just the drink, most of these shops are oozing with character, the atmosphere is an experience in itself…
