The Victoria Peak is one of the most popular and famous tourist attractions of Hong Kong. The best way to get there is to take the Peak Tram. Owning of a history of over 120 years, the Peak Tram was mainly used by Birth Governor and Peak residents. Nowadays, it is the steepest funicular railway in the world.
During the whole eight minutes journey, passengers will have the slowly unfolding views over Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and Victoria Harbour. Listening to the sound of wind passing by your ear, you will find yourself totally immersed in the wonderful scenery.
Departing within 10 to 15-minute intervals from the Lower Peak Tram Terminus, the Peak Tram operates from 07:00 to 24:00 daily. The fare of single journey is 20 HKD and you can also use the Octopus card here.
