Hong Kong’s Major Regions
Hong Kong has three major regions being New Territories which borders with mainland China, Kowloon which is the peninsula, and Hong Kong Island. Although the hundreds of islands come under districts of those three regions, you may often see people referring to them as the outlying islands.
