Tai O Heritage Hotel and Heritage Site

The Tai O Heritage Hotel was formerly the Tai O Police Station (CN: 舊大澳警署) that was originally built in 1902. It is located on Tai O Island which is on the western side of Lantau Island, where the airport, Giant Buddha, and Nong Ping 360 is located.

The station featured a main block joined to an outhouse with the main block containing a charge room, cells, and dormitories. The outhouse was further dormitories, kitchens, and store. Served with the purpose of combating piracy, the site featured cannons, a searchlight and guard towers.

Today, that has been preserved and converted into a boutique hotel where visitors can stay and experience a genuine heritage site along with the surrounding attractions.
