Hong Kong Industrial Centre – Wholesale Fashion

The Hong Kong Industrial Centre primarly a wholesale market and does not sell singular items to retail customers nor allow for fitting and trying on etc. BUT, on Saturdays, you are in luck as it opens to the public.

The building is jam packed with stalls wholsaling clothes that will end up in retail stores through Hong Kong, the Chinese Mainland and accross the world. There is a strong emphasis on Japanese and Korean fashion styles but as with most wholesale centers, stall owners are quick to move with new trends.

Quality can be suprising, you may put a lot of the items on par with what you would find in Zara or H&M for example. Most of the shops cater to the youth market, for more conservetive or elegant wear I think you’d do be elsewear but perhaps still worth a browse.

A point to remember, these are wholesalers not retailers, forget returns, inspect and be 100% happy before you hand over the money. But it’s worth it as you we may be talking half price or less than waht you will pay in retail stores.
