Tai Yuen Street Market Wan Chai

This market has traditionally been a toy market, a remnant of the days when Hong Kong was into toy manufacturing and has kept going strong and now with more traders setting up stalls for fashion, pop culture items, festive decorations, costumes, board games, and even local snacks.

There is loads of boring generic stuff but collectors will be rewarded by diligent hunting through the array of stores in the area.

At the intersection of Tai Yuen Street and Queens Rd East you’ll find a Starbucks and the Wan Chai Market which is a traditional fresh food market.
