HKMOA – The Hong Kong Museum of Arts
The Hong Kong Museum of Arts is located in Tsim Sha Tsui by Victoria Harbour and with its convenient location and over 17,000 exhibits it is a recommended experience on a visit to Hong Kong.
The wonderful part about the museum is that tells a Hong Kong story and showcases art from a Hong Kong viewpoint.
There are five floors to explore with ten free exhibits and one paid exhibit at the time of writing, covering elements of Hong Kong’s history through to Chinese antiquities.
Guided tours
Guided tours of the museum are offered for free. Register at the entrance counter on arrival. The tour is for a max of 30 people.
Take your headphones for free audio tours of certain exhibitions that are available by scanning the QR code with your smartphone at gallery entrances.
Admission
Entry is free and they also hold special exhibits that have a small fee. During busy times they may limit entry and in such case, it’s recommended to book a pass in advance online at their website hk.art.museum

The Bookshop
Offering a curation of English and Chinese books on fine art, visual culture, urban & design living, as well as picture books of fine illustration. It’s also a maker space featuring many creatives and artists. Web: thebookshophk.com

HUE Dining Room

Getting there
It is a short walk from the Star Ferry Pier and Star Ferry Bus Stop at Victoria Harbour. Take the MTR to MTR East Tsim Sha Tsui Station and use Exit L6 or J, or MTR Tsim Sha Tsui Station Exit E
